Files stored on the NMIT network are subject to monitoring and review to ensure the network is used appropriately and securely.
Material stored on the NMIT computer network is intended for educational and authorised use. To help maintain the security and integrity of the network, NMIT reserves the right to monitor and review information stored on its systems.
Monitoring and review
NMIT Information Technology Services may review material stored on the network if required.
If any material is considered inappropriate or in breach of NMIT policies, it may be removed. Access to the NMIT network may also be suspended or withdrawn.
Internet activity
A record of the internet pages accessed through the NMIT network is maintained.
Students are expected to use the NMIT network responsibly and in accordance with NMIT's acceptable use policies.
