Where are the printers located, how much does printing cost, and how do I top up my printing credit?
Find out where to print at NMIT, current printing costs, how to top up your PaperCut credit, and where to get help.
Printers are available across NMIT campuses.
You can find printers in:
- Every computer lab
- Campus libraries (which also provide photocopying and scanning)
Printing costs:

Scanned documents can be sent to one or more email addresses.
How do I top up my printing credit?
You can add credit to your PaperCut account:
- With coins at the Fishbowl Computer Café
- By debit card at:
- Library Learning Centre (M Block, Nelson Campus)
- A Block Reception (Nelson Campus)
- A Block Reception (Marlborough Campus)
Top up remotely:
If you cannot top up on campus, the Enrolments Team can accept payment by debit card over the phone during business hours.

Printing tips:
Before printing, make sure you have selected a nearby printer.
If you choose Secure Print, you can release your print job at any compatible printer by:
- Signing in at the printer, or
- Tapping your previously linked student ID card.
