How do I send my English proficiency test results to NMIT?

Learn how to submit your English proficiency test results to NMIT for application and admission purposes.

NMIT accepts a range of English proficiency tests recognised by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA).

For the current list of NZQA-approved English language tests, refer to the NZQA accepted English proficiency tests page.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System):

NMIT can verify your IELTS results online.

To have your results verified:

  1. Email your most recent IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) to international@nmit.ac.nz.
  2. NMIT will verify your results through the IELTS verification service.
OET (Occupational English Test):

To allow NMIT to verify your OET results

  1. Follow the OET results verification instructions.
  2. Grant NMIT permission to access your test results through the OET portal.
PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English):

To send your PTE Academic results to NMIT

  1. Follow the official PTE instructions for sharing your results with an institution.
  2. If provided, use the accompanying instructions available from NMIT to complete the process.
