How do I connect to the NMIFI Wi-Fi network on a Windows device?

Follow these steps to connect your Windows device to the NMIFI wireless network using your NMIT account.

Before you begin:

To connect to the NMIFI wireless network, you will need:

  • Your NMIT username.
  • Your network password.

Username format:

  • Students: Preferredname-Lastname
  • Staff: Firstname.Lastname
Connect to the NMIFI network:
  1. Open the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your Windows device.
  2. Select NMIFI.
      
  3. When prompted, choose NMIT User.
  4. Enter your NMIT username and network password, then select Connect.
      
  5. If prompted to trust or accept the security certificate, select Trust (or Connect, depending on your version of Windows).
      
  6. Once the certificate has been accepted, your device will connect to the NMIFI network.
